Our Story

Born in a Cornish cottage in 2005.

Smite was launched in 2005 by Roger and Sue Daniel — two retired primary school teachers from the beautiful village of St Neot, Cornwall. What started as a few handmade sets for friends became a genuine UK phenomenon.

After a break for a few years whilst we all got our Smite together again, Jon Daniel takes the reins as the second generation of Smite Masters — under the watchful eye of the Jedi Smite Master himself, Roger Daniel.

Sets originally made in Bali, packed in a spare bedroom in St Neot, each sent with a personal handwritten message. A true cottage industry built on love of the game.

2013

World Championships on Trans World Sports TV

The World Smite Championships in St Neot are filmed and broadcast internationally. Smite goes global.

2023-2026

A pause in production

Spiraling shipping costs force a temporary halt in Smite production. The game went quiet — but Smiters kept on playing.

Now

A new generation and new mission — Jon Daniel relaunches Smite

Jon Daniel — Roger's nephew and the second generation of Smite Masters — brings Smite back with a new partnership with Net World Sports and a new charity mission. The world's best game (well, Smiters think so) is back!
